Our chapter’s mission is to conduct outreach to the general community within San Diego County and help increase the awareness and understanding of the information security field. We are an organized group of information security professionals that promote interest and growth in the information security profession through collaboration and networking, provide information security education and training to the community, and otherwise support the mission of (ISC)².
The International Information System Security Certification Consortium, or (ISC)², is a non-profit organization that specializes in training and certifications for cybersecurity professionals. It has been described as the "world's largest IT security organization".
