"Security Strategy for Today’s Expanded Attack Surface"
Matthew Bossom is a Senior Security Solutions Architect for Presidio. As a Sr. Security Solutions Architect, Matthew is an industry veteran with over 18 years of experience. Mr. Bossom has overall leadership responsibility for the security line of business in Southern California at Presidio.
Prior to joining Presidio, Mr. Bossom was Senior Manager of Presales Engineering at Carbon Black, a position he held since 2016. In this role he was instrumental in driving operational excellence across Carbon Black’s $165 million business and in leading Carbon Black’s presales agenda.
From 2004 to 2016, Mr. Bossom led Optiv’s national network of Presales Engineers as the business grew from $30 million annual revenue to $700 million. From 2004 to 2016, he had overall responsibility for Optiv’s work with public-sector clients in the US and enterprise business in multiple geographies. Earlier in his career, he worked with numerous clients in a variety of industries and has spoken at multiple regional and national security conferences such as ISSA, TRISC, CIMA, and CGAIT etc. Mr. Bossom maintains current knowledge of best practices and leading products from intense security experience working with large public agencies, telecommunications companies, universities and enterprises integrating networking and information security solutions.
