About the speaker:

Tim Hamon is a Senior Forensic Examiner for the FBI, assigned to San Diego's Regional Computer Forensics Laboratory (RCFL) since 2001. During his tenure at the RCFL, he has conducted hundreds of computer examinations, testified dozens of times, designed, researched and tested tools used by the FBI's computer forensics program and created training curriculum related to digital forensics. Since 2008, Mr. Hamon has been assigned to San Diego's criminal cyber squad, where he has conducted cyber-specific forensic examinations and provided technical expertise and analysis work on digital content related to cyber cases. Mr. Hamon has a master's degree in software engineering and teaches Information Assurance courses at a local university's continuing education program.

Cyber security and digital forensic expert with an accomplished history of cyber investigations, digital forensics and analysis, incident response, cyber threat and risk assessment, and development of cyber security and forensic training programs.
